Born purely out of anger, sadness, and frustration, this collection serves as mourning-esque wear for the death of the Earth. Stemming from exasperation towards the misuse of materials and practices of previous generations, my collection exploits the ease of sustainability. As a means of taking responsibility for our actions, my designs include elements of self-punishment in combination with natural motifs. Grounded in darkness, “SEETHE” provides a new look to sustainability.
Collection made for CFDA Scholarship Fund Competition, earning a place as a competition finalist.
